Middle-east c.830 BC Campaign

This map of the Middle East circa 830 bc looks like it would make a good tabletop campaign, but I’m wondering what army lists would best represent Edom and Moab?

I don’t see many definitive options in Meshwesh, so I would be inclined to use the Later Hebrew list for both Moab and Edom. Perhaps with a single Chariot and the rest Light Foot, Bow Levy, and Skirmishers. Maybe some Midianite Camelry for Edom and Aramaen Archers for Moab, based on the nations that share a border with them.

You are right, this would make for a good campaign.

Here is what I have so far. Haven't found much to help me pick army lists for Ammon, Moab and Edom...but its clear they were substantial kindgoms and occasional foes to the Hebrews in Isarel and Judah and were even known to ally with each other. Here is one source: https://library.biblicalarchaeology.org ... he-jordan/?

MIDDLE EAST Circa 830 AD

Assyrian Middle Assyrian & Early Neo-Assyrian
Israel Later Hebrew
Judah Later Hebrew
Ammon ?
Moab ?
Edom ?
Aram Damascus Amurru and Early Aramaean
Aramaean Tribes Amurru and Early Aramaean
Arabu Tribes Midianites & Early Arabs
Nabatu Tribes Midianites & Earl Arabs
Phoenicians Early Cypriot and Phoenician
Philistines Later Philistines
