Group to column reverse?

Post by colbystgm » Thu Aug 30, 2018 5:00 am

38.3 allows a column to formed from a group for only one command point. Shouldn't the reverse be allowed, form a group from a column for only one command point?

No, unpacking a column is not a single point maneuver. It takes a lot more coordination to reposition individual units into a line than it does to form a column.

Salutations !

In the _De Bellis Antiquitatis_ community, this is known as "The Khazar Mounted Drill Team".

IMHO, the gentlemen responsible for _Triumph_ wanted to Specifically Leave It Out

That move was never legal in DBA; you might be thinking about De Bellis Multitudinis (DBM) where such a rule existed (I think).

Salutations, again, gentlefolk !

Was away from the hobby for a few years, admit that I am mistaken about this, here.

Yours, John (often wrong, but never in doubt ;-) )
