I recently read an interesting book, The Attack on Troy by Rodney Castleden. https://smile.amazon.com/Attack-Troy-Ro ... 174&sr=8-1
Drawing from ancient Greek epics, Hittite diplomatic records and archaeology, Castleden reconstructs the Trojan War. The book contains good maps of the battlefields. There is also an interesting discussion of the armies and tactics.
