Triumph! at LITTLE WARS 2023

Just a brief note to thank you for running Asculum at LITTLE WARS.

It was a pleasure as well as privilege to see the rules in action (instead of on You Tube or in several attempts on my own tabletop).

I appreciated seeing how quickly the gathered player-generals were able to grasp the basics and towards the end, essentially run the game by themselves.

I also appreciated seeing the scores of excellent figures used in this historical refight.

I was glad to be able to learn some of the finer points of the rules (such as flanking units also withdrawing when a combined attack did not work out) as well as observe some of the nuances of the Triumph! rules in action.

Thanks again for taking the time and for persevering in a rather crowded as well as noisy environment.
