I have been enjoying 15mm Triumph for some time now and decided to start rebasing my old 28mm Impetus armies for this system.
As a result, I found a now have enough Spanish and Carthaginians to give Grand Triumph a try.
Mates Rob (and son) Michael stopped over today and we blasted through 2 games
Which we all seemed to enjoy
The 1st game was a close/lucky win to the Iberians
The 2nd turn out to be a very bloody draw with both armies breaking on the same turn
Looks like the Romans are next in line for a rebase
28mm Carthy's vs Iberians

Magnificent looking game!
Re: 28mm Carthy's vs Iberians
Michael and I both had a great day at Roundie's. Not reading the rules properly for when commands demoralize and what happens to a broken command and stands out of range for PIPS made a bit of a difference in the first game, same again in the 2nd when Michael played. The most comical incident (2nd picture) right hand side was when the elephants broke through and chased the Iberian general down and squashed him, pretty much the whole command broke and streamed off the field. Roundie's abilities from an idea to fruition are amazing, let's just say that his 28mm armies are now fully employed playing Triumph and Grand Triumph. I've started collecting 28mm Greeks to mirror my 15mm which are also for Triumph and big based like Roundie's.
My first couple of stands Re: 28mm Carthy's vs Iberians
