Beautiful brush work. Well done! I don't think I will ever post pictures of my work again. They would pale in comparison. :D

Those figures look great! The work on the shields and little details like the patterns on the chariot body (including the floor) are some of the best I have seen.

Great work Mark. Are the wicker shields a painted effect or are the shields embossed with the finish?

God no, they come embossed for no extra charge! I don't think I'd have the patience to do it otherwise.

I find there are limits to how much time I'm prepared to invest for mass army figures. Otherwise I'd be doing reins and bow strings not to mention cup holders and bar fridges for the chariots.

A change and some additions to my Assyrians.

The sculpting style of the Museum Miniatures Bowmen didn't blend too well so I've replaced them with Essex figures.
