Hard Copy Discount if you have the Electronic?
Hard Copy Discount if you have the Electronic?
Is there a discount for those of us who bought the electronic version?

In a sense -- we are going to be making the fancy version with photos and stuff available to PDF purchasers (as before, no additional cost). We're waiting on that (release/update) until the physical book is available, so we don't have two different versions up at the same time. Just a matter of weeks now, our shipper tells us -- the boat is on the Atlantic even as we speak.
Regarding buying a physical book for discounted cost, no, the logistics of that turned out to be unmanageable. We decided to just make the pricepoint as low as we could, instead. And it is likely to be cheaper (and higher quality) than anything you could print yourself (if you are the sort of person that prints out your PDF). Plus it has high-quality coil binding so it lays flat.

For us who like to print stuff at home, will there be an nonfancy version with the textual changes but no photos etc?

I believe so. But for true conservatives, I'm sorry to inform that we are not planning a version with tiny print, no headings, no index, no diagrams. So if that's the style you like, our abject apologies.Andreas Johansson wrote: ↑Thu Feb 20, 2020 11:18 amFor us who like to print stuff at home, will there be an nonfancy version with the textual changes but no photos etc?

Thanks
(If one wants tiny print, one can always fiddle with the printer settings. You can skip the pages with the index easily enough too.)

If you ever do decide to make a nostalgia edition, don't forget to leave out important explanations of rules so we can have lively debates over what the authors intended!
