The October 2017 update includes the following changes to the Triumph Rules document:

BATTLE CARDS
The basic rules for using battle cards have been added to the main rule book. We'll be gradually rolling out the detailed rules for each battle card over the next couple of months. We'll also be updating Meshwesh to include which battle cards (if any) are allowed for each army. The rules include a sample battle card so you can get an idea of what they're like.

CLOSE COMBAT IN DIFFICULT TERRAIN
Modified definition of when a stand is in difficult terrain for close combat: Now determined by the edge that is in combat, not the entire stand.
Simplified close combat modifiers for stands in difficult terrain:
-1 for any mounted
-2 for any close order foot fighting against foot (no modifier for close order foot vs mounted)
no modifier for open order foot

MINOR RULES CHANGES
Dicing for Terrain Pieces: Advantaged player now adjusts combined roll. Topography modifier is now built-in to the lookup table. Cannot select both Stream and Coast terrain pieces.
Added rules for Forming Column.
Warriors are now 3 points per stand (instead of 4 points per stand). The army lists on Meshwesh have been modified so that the numbers of stands allowed works correctly with this new point value.
Combat Outcomes:
- Rabble in difficult terrain now panic vs any mounted (instead of being destroyed).
- Rabble in any terrain now panic vs a wide range of foot troop types (instead of being destroyed).
Added a length requirement for edge terrain pieces.

REWORDING AND CLARIFICATION
Clarified rules for measuring distance when shooting.
Cleaned up the description of the process for selecting pairs of stands for close combat.
Clarified that stands fighting to the flank or rear don't pursue.
Clarified that a stand may not pass through or push back a friendly stand that has enemy in flank contact or rear contact with it.
Similarly, clarified that a stand does not pursue if it has an enemy stand in flank contact or rear contact with it (applies to Pike stands providing rear support).

QUICK REFERENCE SHEETS
Updated to relect rules changes noted above.
