Looks like you had a good time. How did the rules question go, were you able to look it up in the rules and get an answer?

Absolutely, yes. Unlike with the legacy system, we almost always find the relevant rules section in quite a short time. I think it is the way the Triumph! rules are written, that helps a lot:
- each rule is explained in a very clear wording
- every issue has its own paragraph
- the authors are not afraid to re-state important issues in different paragraphs, even if it extends the volume of the rules a bit
- there are many illustrating diagrams in the rules. There could be even more, but they cover the common situations.

They worked hard to make sure you could look it up and get to an answer. Also helps that the answer usually makes sense too :)

...a great event. My Gepides were the winning army but i got 2nd with the Bohemian Slavs...
