Barrage

Post by spenn » Mon May 17, 2021 10:44 am

Anyone planning on attending Barrage this year?

It's in Havre de Grace, Maryland in September.

Is it definitely on? I know regulations and virus related stuff are changing rapidly.

I'm sure it's as up in the air as anything that is four months away in the world of Covid. No matter what they would say if you asked the organizers.

Seriously considering it too. I will have my 2nd shot by then, but I don't know my fall semester schedule yet. I've never been to Barrage and I don't even know how much space is devoted to open gaming. But, wow, it would be nice to get out of the house and push some lead.

I've never been either. They say they added an ancients tournament in 2014, but I'm not sure if it is SAGA or L'Arte De Guerre or what. I don't see any ancients in their pictures.

My son and I went a few years ago and it was a lot of fun: small and well-run. I'm going to try and attend with him again this year, and some Triumph! would be most excellent.

I couldn't find a PEL on their website? (PEL = Preliminary Events Listing)

It's not up yet:
"Registration for GMs, vendors, flea markets, and participants will open in July 2021. Stay tuned."

Game Registration opens today for Barrage. This is for people submitting games they want to run. Hmmm...wonder if I could put one together. Have to think about it.
