Forum problems?

Post by HoaryCenturion » Sun Jun 02, 2024 9:26 pm

Hi,

Was not sure where to post this . . .

I have experienced quite a few "page not responding," or "down for maintenance / space problems" when attempting to log in or just see what others are doing with TRIUMPH!

Glad to see the issue has been fixed.

Anyone else have this trouble?

Going forward, what might the 300-plus members expect?

Thanks,
Chris

I've noticed.

The army lists seem to have been unaffected throughout however which, if you own a copy of the rules, is helpful.

My understanding is that WGC is looking for a more stable platform for the forum.

If it goes down you can reach out on the Facebook page.

Thanks gents.

Yes, the army lists catalog remained accessible.

Isn't technology grand? I hope WGC has good fortune in finding and securing a better platform.

The assumption is that all of the previous discussion threads will be copied over.

Checking on Facebook presumes that I have an interest in Facebook, or Twitter (or X) or whatever it will be next week, or Instagram . . .

What did we do when we did not have phones?!

Maybe we wargamed a little more often?

I would suggest as a platform NodeBB Forums. I have been using at at https://forums.triplea-game.org/ and it is reliable and better quality. You can past images into forum posts directly.
