Early Egyptian vs. Nubians

I played a solo game to try out my new Egyptian and Nubian armies. Egypt had the lower invasion score and selected Dry topography, wanting to have minimal terrain so that the Raiders could move more freely. There was a single patch of Rough terrain on tje Egyptian baseline. Egypt also had the tactical advantage.

The Nubians deployed Archers in the center to start. The Egyptians deployed with Raiders in the center, Bow Levy and a Skirmisher on their right, and the Hordes and a Skirmisher on their left. The Elite Foot general followed the Raiders. The idea was for the Raiders to move fast and destroy the Archers before they could shoot.

The Nubian Warbands deployed opposite the Bow Levy, planning to defeat them then roll up the Egyptian line. The Nubian Skirmishers set up opposite the Egyptian Hordes to delay them.

The game ended in disaster for the Nubians. The Raiders destroyed two Archers, including the general, on first contact. The Nubian warbands made some gaps in the Bow Levy line by pushing them back, but became fragmented by pursuits. The Raiders exploited the gaps in the Nubian Archer line and ended the game (five Nubian Archers destroyed = 20 points, one Egyptian Bow Levy destroyed = 2 points).

Sorry for the random picture order, I dont know how to line them up like I want.

Game 2, except now there is more terrain. The Nubians are set up with Warband and Archers mixed together this time.

Game 2 ended in another disaster for the Nubians. Alternating the Archers and Warband did help the line survive the initial Raider attack.
