Great battle reports! I especially love the flats you’re using for the units

Definitely like TTS! My gaming group is really into it, but I’ve managed to turn one of them to loving triumph. The chitless nature of it is great looking gaming table

Agree with with on TTS! I really should try to stage more games using this innovative system. Even if they would have to be smaller scale . . . I have tried cards, but turned to using small poker chips with handwritten numbers on them. A little less clutter.

Stay tuned . . . I have a few more projects in the pipeline, as it were.

It's funny. I had the exact same reaction. I spent a bunch of time making little counters, half with 1-10 on them, and half with I-X (Roman Numerals) on them to get all ancient-like. And then when I came to play, I found that, the playing cards were just much faster... but agreed they didn't look quite a cool.

But even there, I STILL have my first love of historical wargaming was DBA, which has turned into Triumph! and so I will always return to it. Some great looking tables out there. Especially excited by double or triple Triumph! that I think can really look like a proper set of battle lines, and not a card/chit/marker to be seen.

Grand Triumph (triple-sized) is my favorite thing on the planet. Better than Cheese.
