Attempt at alliteration aside, thought some of you might be interested in reading this text only account of an ancient battle set in a much later time and featuring different armies.

Good report; I especially appreciate your use of footnotes and links to references.

In answer to your observation about the loss of generals: the loss of the general does not contribute any extra points towards victory, but does then make all use of command points more expensive because all units are technically out of command range! So a move that would normally cost one point would then cost two points.

Thanks for taking the time to read and comment. I find footnotes helpful, but don't always include them in my reports. It just depends.

Point noted about loss of generals and sub-generals and the command and control issues that result.
