Triumph at HotLead 2019

We will running a bunch of demo games at HotLead this year on March 29, 30, and 31 at Stratford Ontario. You can find the details of the venue here: https://www.hotlead.ca/

The Battle of Hastings, 1066 AD
Scale: 28mm
Rules: Triumph!
Players: 6
In January of 1066, King Edward the Confessor dies and Harold Godwinson is elected to the throne. Two other men also claim the crown of England. King Harold must now fight to defend England from two invading armies. Stamford Bridge sees the defeat Harold Hardrada, one down, King Harold must face William Duke of Normandy. The Saxon army deploys on a hillside blocking the road to London near Hastings. On October 14th, 1066 two armies meet in one of the most famous battles in history. New players are welcome. This will be an introductory game to TRIUMPH! Fast Play Rules for Ancient and Medieval Battles.

Description: It is 1274 BC and Ramses II wants to prove he is the greatest Pharaoh of all-time. What better way to do that than to invade the neighboring Hittite Empire. Ramses leads his forces North where he finds a trap laid near the city of Kadesh by King Muwatalli II. What happens next is one of the largest chariot battles in recorded History. Each battlefield will represent a different era and pair of armies: Romans vs. Gauls, Picts vs. Vikings, and Feudal English vs. Scots (Braveheart). New players are welcome.
