We have had enough int[/color]erest to hold a Triumph weekend on June 23 - 25th in Kennett Square, PA. Call it Triumph Training... or From Praxis to Triumph... or Triumph in the Woods or... TRIUMPHFEST!

WHEN: 7pm, Friday, 6/23/17- 5pm, Sunday, 6/25/17
WHERE: The House in the Woods, 140 Thompson Rd., Kennett Square, PA 19348
RSVP: by 6/18/17 to wendymyers0608@gmail.com. We need to know for table set-up, etc.

GAMING:
We will be focusing on doubles, but will also be doing singles. Bring your own armies - triples for those wanting to practice doubles. Bring your own dice and measuring sticks. If you have playmats, bring them, too. Bring a sense of humor and fun.

THINGS TO KNOW:
HOUSING: We can host two in bedrooms (one on a single, one on a folding cot. Caveat: The bath Jack and Jill's with our 23 year old son's bath.) We can also host three on couches - two in the Great Room, one in the Living Room/Library/Conservatory. These are first come/first serve. Otherwise: http://historickennettsquare.com/lodging/. All four listings are 5 - 10 minutes from our house and have good reputations.
COST: No fee to attend. Bring your own drink and food and/or money to buck-up for take-out or delivery.
FOOD/DRINK: See above.
OTHER: Have family that wants a weekend away? We are 10 minutes from the beautiful Longwood Gardens and 15 min. from Winterthur and the Brandywine Museum. We have a fabulous Brandywine Valley wine trail and some incredible micro-breweries. Downtown Kennett Square (the Mushroom Capital of the World) boasts world-renown restaurants and some great boutique shopping. I also can recommend a great outfitter for those who want to kayak the Brandwine River.

TriumphFest is less than a month away. We've had two people confirm, which is enough to do doubles, but given that John's armies are very close to ours (Marian Roman and Gauls/Early Germans), more variety is definitely needed. We'd love to have more attend, even if it's just for part of the day on Saturday. We're within two-ish hours of DC, Baltimore, and Harrisburg, and within an hour of Philly and Lancaster. Just let us know what works best for you!

I wish I could join you, but unfortunately that weekend will not work for me. Will be at a family wedding and all of the events scheduled around that.

I'm confirming my attendance, can I call dibs on a bedroom with a bed?

Sure! It's a single bed and Jack and Jill's with my 23 year old son's bathroom. We'll be sure it's clean.

For others: That's the only room we have with a bed, since my daughter is now back from college. We still have a cot and three couches of varying levels of comfort!
