Preliminary Discussion of Events at Historicon 2025

So far planned are:

• Grand Triumph Doubles tournament. 15mm scale. Probably Friday afternoon and evening, same as in 2024. Two players on a team (doubles tournament)
• 15mm Open tournament. Saturday evening. 15mm scale.
• 15mm Theme tournament. Theme not resolved yet.
• Epic Conflicts. Thurs/Fri/Saturday mornings, 9-12.
• Ragnarök! 6 or 8 players, 28mm figs. All figures and terrain supplied (scenario game of Grand Triumph). Norse Twilight of the Gods -- the end of everything, as the world is frozen in the Fimbulwinter, drowned by the thrashing of the Midgard serpent, and consumed in fire! Play a command of AEsir (Norse Gods) and Einharjar (brave Viking warriors in Valhalla). Or fight for the destruction of the world as Surtur and his Fire Giants, Ymir and his Frost Giants, Hela and her legions of Dead, plus the Fenris Wolf, Loki, and horrible Garmr, Hela's hound, guardian of Hel, worst of monsters. Jormungandr sprays horrible venom into the air and the land. An axe age, a sword age, shields are riven! A wind age, a wolf age, the world's ending. No man will have mercy on another.
