  • Afternoon 1pm: Assault on Echo Base. 28mm Fantasy Triumph: Star Wars armies on Hoth. Armies and terrain provided.
  • Afternoon 1pm: Defending the Crossings of Poros. 28mm Fantasy Triumph: Gondor versus Haradrim in Middle Earth. Armies and terrain provided.
  • Evening 7-11: 15mm Crusades/Medieval Tournament. Armies from the following thematic categories (on Meshwesh): Byzantium in Decay, Crusader Kingdoms, Flower of Chivalry (before 1450 only), Glorious Byzantium (after 1070 only)
• Saturday
  • Morning 9-12: Epic Conflicts matched pairs.
  • Afternoon 1pm: Battle in the Underdark. 28mm Fantasy Triumph; armies and terrain provided.

Note that there is an error in the PEL -- the Lord of the Rings battle in South Ithilien (Haradrim vs. Gondor) is listed twice at 1pm on Saturday. It should be running once on Saturday and once on Friday, both at 1pm.

It looks like I won't be able to make it to Valley Forge by 7pm (or even by 8pm, I guess), so set up in Ross, Spencer. Or set up in the usual tournament area if you think it is better -- Ross is more than a little out of the way, and it might make it hard for anyone to find you. And nothing in the PEL says anything about where the Triumph! tournaments are.

Hey Steve! It's great that you're running stuff -- I tried to check out your Durazzo game a couple of times, but I was running three Triumph! games at 1pm (Echo Base, Tantive IV, and a LOTR game in South Ithilien) and the timing didn't work. I think Terence might have popped by and seen your event, though. How did it go? We sent at least two players your way (they were looking for your game and found us instead).

Durazzo had a historical result with the battle ending in bloody exhaustion for both sides. The victory conditions were break two of the enemies three commands. Both the Italo-Normans and the Byzantines second command broke the same turn. I think the players had fun.
