For anyone who has only one army (or has the firm intent to paint their first army within this theme for the event), as always if you let us know in advance through email or by signing up here, we will move heaven and earth to make sure you get to play it.


Here are the armies for the Campaign Theme: The Urnfield Culture North Europe is not actually on-map at this point (it is starting to develop in Poland), but we have no real evidence as to the tribes directly outside the Mycenaean Greek and Hittite spheres in what is now Thrace, and the pre-Urnfield "Early Bronze Age North Europe" army list does not seem appropriate to what evidence we do have. So the Urnfield list here represents the Phrygians, Lycians, proto-Illyrians, proto-Thracians, and Dorian Greek tribes outside the Mycenaean palace culture military system.

I would like to be a Hittite or Mycenaen; I have armies for both; or Middle Assyrian and Mitanni as alternates. I better sign up for something before everything is gone. And I could still be a viceroy of Kush if no one else wants it.....

The above seems like mostly musing, which is all good, but doesn't count as a request to register...

[EDIT -- or does it? Was the above first sentence a request to register? The following sentences and sentence fragments made it unclear. If it was a request to register then pick one (Hittite or Mycenaean), because I don't pick for you.]

If this was a request to register I might say that as of now there is a Mycenaean slot open; Assyrian is wide open; Hittite is only barely open (one more space); Mitanni is full.

At this point we'd like to reserve Viceroy of Kush for a new player, because we can put together a loaner for that very easily. We have to have 6-8 loaners ready for event signups with tickets at the event, and organizing those loaners is always a total bugger because people don't get us the loaner armies way in advance.

Putting together loaner armies now for the Big Event.

Does anyone (who will be attending) have the capability to put together one or more of the following armies:
  • Kassite and Later Babylonian:
    • 2-4 Chariots (2-horse)
    • 3-6 Light Foot
    • 3-6 Skirmishers
    • 0-2 Bow Levy and some miscellenous spiced meat
  • Amurru and Early Aramaean
    • 1 Chariots (2-horse) or Light Foot
    • 6-14 Light Foot
    • 0-6 Rabble
    • 1-3 Bow Levy or Archers
    • 1-3 Skirm (slingers)
  • Middle Elamite
    • 1-3 Archers or Raiders
    • 0-1 Battle Taxi
    • 9-22 Bow Levy
If so, please let me know ASAP. You don't need all options -- if you can put together a single 48pt army according to one of the above lists, that's what we want.
