Fall In! Convention
Lancaster Host, Lancaster PA
It is 846 AD, and scattered Viking raiding has become a flood of pagans; the North Sea is a highway for Viking Fury as raiders contest to see who can bring home the most loot, slaughter the most priests, defile the holiest places, or conquer the most English, Scots, Picts, Irish, Welsh, Frisians, or Franks! It's a great time to have a bushy beard, long braids, and an axe!
For everyone else, of course, things are turning to crap.

Just a quick question David K, what armies are you going to designate for Man and Cornwall?

Hey Greg.Gregorius wrote:Just a quick question David K, what armies are you going to designate for Man and Cornwall?
If we get the numbers and the signups, Cornwall would be Dark Ages Welsh and Man would be Dublin or Manx Viking.
To explain the maps a bit -- Viking Raider armies don't have an initial position (they are floating in the North Sea) and there is a simple system where they assign themselves to one of the positions with a white star; if they win their battle there then they get to keep that position thereafter. So non-Viking players don't know at the start whether they will have lots of nearby raiders or whether they will be in a relatively Viking-light region, and Vikings have a chance to choose their location (a long-term raiding camp) based on their success.
