The monthly Triumph! game session at Saga Games will happen next week, Friday, 9 September at 6pm. Nice store with plenty of tables. This event doesn't have a theme. Sometimes we pick a theme, but a few of the regular gaming crew are traveling this week and the rest of are simply going to get together to play as much as possible. Four people showed up to play Triumph last night in Frederick. Played a total of six games among us. Lots of armies - Mongols, Nikephorian Byzantine, Ming, and others. I played in 3 games and, well, lost two of them. Whew, those Pavise were rough. And the combination of the Ming artillery and archers were equally tough against my Mongols. It was a great time. Lots of fun.
