Our Club plays Grand Triumph from time to time (96 or 144Pts), but owing to figure shortage, both sides have commands of 48pt armies, but of different nations.
Has anyone devised a setup system that accounts for each command having different Manouvre Ratings, Invasion Ratings, Home Terrain etc?
Help on the FB Page did suggest using the C-in-C's home terrain and designate the rest as 'Allies' however not sure how well this will go down for say one who has a Warband army and another who has an all Horse army?
Problem is most in the Club don't have a full 96/144 army of the same nation, so individual nations must be used.
Any ideas/methods out there to handle this?
Grand Triumph Armies of Different Nations How to sort out setup?
Re: Grand Triumph Armies of Different Nations How to sort out setup?
I would use the highest invasion and Maneuver ratings from the participating armies.
In other words, we are in this mess because of the aggressive nations actions and we out maneuvered the enemy because on of us brough some scouts.

Good point Rod....(We see it all the time, even more so in this modern 'civilised' world!;) For tomorrow, Have tried averaging the 3 different armies Inv/Mnv scores. (Roman/Gallic/Parthian vs Roman/Gallic/Parthian!) but will keep your suggestion in mind. (For which army faces each other we're going to dice for each table section.)
