some of the NW Coastal Indian cultures fought their wars wearing hollowed-out wooden buckets on their heads, with eyeslits.
Cool, buckets on their head! Elite foot or Raiders if anything :)

But where to get the appropriate figures?

Nobody wearing a wooden bucket on their head is going to be all that good at speedy movement, so I find it hard to justify Raiders. Elite Foot is possible, if you only consider fighting against other metal-poor N.Am Indian cultures.

It really is. But without horses, there are no battle taxis.
