Some Saitic Egyptians. Images are too dark; it's a camera issue (I'm taking the pictures in very bright light) that I haven't figured out yet.

Thanks for posting David.
I remember promising you pics, Bill -- but I forget if the promise was here, or in FB.
I'll get some pics up of my Kushite Egyptians as well, in a couple of days.

Either place is fine. Here is actually a bit easier to find. FB rolls so much it is hard to go back in time.
It is a big time gap for as important a place as Egypt to go from New Kingdom to Cleopatra and the 4th Crusade.
These migh make for the basis for some cool Hyborian Age fantasy armies too.
Do you guys have any campaigns that these armies would fit in?

Right, good point.

There are a half-dozen armies between New Kingdom to the end of the Ptolemies (Cleopatra). Early NKE, Ramesside NKE, Nile Princes, Libyan Egyptian, Kushite Egyptian, Saitic Egyptian, Saitic Rebellions, Then the Neo-Babylonian Empire and two Achaemenid Persians (Early and Late) and then three Ptolemies (Early Ptolemaic, Ptolemaic, Cleopatran Ptolemaic).
I'm not sure what you're asking by mentioning the 4th Crusade? That was the fall of Byzantium, 1204 AD, and very little to do with Egypt (which had been lost to the Arab Conquest six hundred years earlier).

Kingdom of Kush, you mean? Ya, although I'd have to reread Robert E. Howard to see whether that feels more like Saitic Egyptian, or something else.

You mean in the Campaign Books? Sure. The first campaign scheduled for the second campaign book is "Death to Assyria!" -- fall of Assyria, late 7th century BC. Saitic Egyptian and Kushite Egyptian are both involved in that; the Kushite Egyptian army fought a notable battle against Assyria in Palestine that appears in the bible, can't recall the name of the battle right now.

Battle of Ashkelon, Kushite Pharoah Taharqa defeats Assyrian Emperor Esarhaddon, 674 BC. But that might not be the one I'm thinking of.
