Garrison Armored Camelry
I just received from Garrison Miniatures via Etsy a pack of 3D printed 28mm armored camels and riders from their Middle Earth range depicting Easterlings. This pack is the command figures, officer, horn tooter, and bannerman carrying a huge flag, all shielded perched atop really detailed and decked out camels. They will become Parthians for my Triumph! gaming, along with metal Old Glory cataphracts and horse archers on 80mm wide stands. I'll start painting these guys tomorrow, and it will take all my patient skill to do the sculpts justice. My hat's off to Garrison Miniatures--and the turn-around time for the order of 4 packs of minis was really quick. And the figures are NOT outsized 28mm. Size-wise they are right in line with Old Glory 28mm minis.

I remember Garrison figures from the 1970s. Is this a modern incarnation of the same company? I looked at their Etsy site and it looks like modern sculpts.

I agree these new Garrisons must be a whole new outfit with new really nice sculpts. The ones I just got are nothing like the old ones from 'the middle of the last century.' Far better--and a little bit bigger, but not giant size.
