Gasgan Chariots

Been doing some research on the inet with little detailed luck on the Gasgans. The brief introductions to each army on the Khurasan site have appeared to be well researched on armies I could do further reading which leads me to the question - why only 1 chariot element for the Gasgans whereas Khurasan cites armies of 9000 warriors and 800 chariots? Even if exaggerated, 1 chariot element seems sparce. What has your research shown?
