Ok, for those itching to try them out, the battle cards are now displayed on the army lists.

Cool 8-)

An apparent anomaly - in the Nikephorian list, only kavallarioi are allowed to burst through, should apply also to the klibanophoroi (acc'd to the tactical manual of Nikephoros Phokas the ability is based on in the first place).

I like the reappearance of the Support card. Well documented historically.

The Camel Protected Infantry card. Great addition. I wonder if the card should protect the infantry from the shattered result against mounted. The Vandals really had no idea how to deal with this tactic. Any other sources for this trick outside of Procopius?

Arrow Shower-useful card especially if trying to simulate Dara.

Mounted infantry: Will help add some variety to Arthurian battles.

Scythed Chariots: As I read the draft, it appears that they become a double wide element which one would play right before launching a cavalry charge at close formation foot, gaining several combat advantages. But, the card can pop up at any time. Why not play the chariots as an element attached to the front of 2 cavalry units from the time the game is set up?

Great additions to the game.

Neo-Assyrian reliefs show Arab archers shooting from behind a line of kneeling camels. And I see the "Midianite and Early Arab" list allows it to their Bow Levy.
