Group to column reverse?

38.3 allows a column to formed from a group for only one command point. Shouldn't the reverse be allowed, form a group from a column for only one command point?

No, unpacking a column is not a single point maneuver. It takes a lot more coordination to reposition individual units into a line than it does to form a column.

That move was never legal in DBA; you might be thinking about De Bellis Multitudinis (DBM) where such a rule existed (I think).
