Really?? Start playing with your helmet on Bubba
There are three types of academic disciplines. Real sciences, whose disciplines are based upon math. Semi-real scientists, whose disciplines are based upon statistics (Sociologists, Poli Sci, that sort of thing). And then there the humanities, where they put together some sort of a degree plan because people who don't understand math are already so poorly prepared for life that they might as well have some sort of a degree available so they don't feel so bad about themselves.

Coach Kuijt

I KNOW all about Science and Scientists and Academics - My dad was a chemist and my mom was a geologist - both from Iowa State -
BLAH BLAH BLAH
I love applied math but turned my nose up at Academics instead deciding to build buildings for ALL of you and get my revenge by milking you OUT of Millions of dollars in extra construction costs and cement shoes -
never seen anyone use their slide rule to get out of one my specially prepared cement shoes........................

Both real sciences. Although geology is weak; it uses less math. Some geologists are just sunburned rock-collectors.

(My father is a botanist, which makes him a sunburned plant-collector. My mother was a psychologist, which is half-way to the humanities  )
