Good news to me, David. Thanks for the quick response. I'll be digging out some surplus Indian archers and changing the bow levy stands to 4 figures. Even without movement and shooting the same turn, and a lesser shooting factor, this could be a big plus for the Classical Indians.

I hope your upcoming surgery is not the really serious kind, and that you recover quickly.

Thinking that you are personally the main brain behind Triumph!, I commend you for the fine rules that have revitalized my interest in ancient tabletop gaming. I'd gotten jaded by the length and complexity of the WRG and DBM games and didn't find DBA to be a good alternative. So after a long long retirement from ancients, I'm really pleased to have found Triumph!. I'm now a big fan.

Right, it makes for a really fun 3-pt shooting stand.

If I die, I'll let you know. It should be fine, but it's serious enough that I'm taking the upcoming semester off teaching. So not as trivial as my gall bladder removal last year this time. I'm wondering what organ I should have removed next year, to continue the trend.

I'm only one of the main brains, but several other brains are currently less active due to real life issues, and that's been true for a couple of years now. Regardless, I"m glad you are a big fan.
