Can a stand that wins in combat voluntarily pursue if it's enemy is forced to fall back?

In section 77 on page 33, it mentions which unit types must pursue and under which circumstances, but not whether it's possible to pursue otherwise.

Nope.

If you are a section 77 stand type, you must pursue.
If you double the enemy, you must pursue.

If neither of the above is true, you cannot pursue. There is no decision, there is no choice.
