Moving out of column is an individual stand move.

This might help

THX! Columns are the feature I always try to avoid because they seems useless and to complicated.

They can be very useful, but dangerous when maneuvering near the enemy.

Not a formation you want to get caught in at the wrong moment.

I always thought the point of the collumn was that it was Easter to maneuver out of ( quick to form line) seems like all the rules have it the other way round . but no problem. Thanks for the answer. Support on the forum is Great BTW .

It is interesting to me how many people think that.

If you have ever done any reenacting (like black powder era) with say a 100 man unit you find out real quickly the opposite. In reality a column is easy to form and is useful to move a lot of people at the same speed and easy to control direction. It is follow the leader.

A line on the other hand is much harder to form and is even harder to maintain.
