FYI You can see my Undead in action on this Forum. I found having too many Unruly, Slow, Regenerate etc means absolute dependence on good Command Points! BTW: Love the look of your armies!

Re: Defending against Horse Bow
Yes give it a try. Certainly has a psychological effect on how you handle your pips. Just roll in a cup and give it upside down to your opponent. Only he knows what you've got. (& same for his turn)

Re: Defending against Horse Bow
Also the PiP discussion and your explanation David was fascinating. (now I feel better re those 1's & 2's;) I think when one rolls high the tendency is to "do something." (Sometimes it is safer, if unsure, to do nothing! Re: "Blind General" Not sure whose seen, but this method devised by someone on ...

Re: Defending against Horse Bow
Read with interest your discussion on Horse Bow. Close to my heart...My first Ancients army was Parthian, which my daughter used for a number of years on our national DBM tournament circuit. All I remember was that, although she was an average player she rarely lost, but either won on occasion or dr...

Re: Fantasy vs Human Playtest
My mistake. I must have been thinking of this (for unattached Heroes anyway.)
Heroes without the Evasive battle card are lost (removed from the battle) if an enemy
ground unit passes over their space.

Re: Fantasy vs Human Playtest
OK Thanks David. The other thing that came to me after my write up was that the Unit the Hero was with was recoiled twice before getting destroyed. Looking at the rules somewhere, that Hero maybe should have disappeared a bit earlier! 2. Query: If a Stand has already say +1 from a 'Deadly Battlecard...

Fantasy vs Human Playtest
Today using Triumph! Fantasy Beta, Peter and I had a Fantasy/Human playtest, with "Undead" vs Marian Rome. Initially the Legionaries were on a roll, cutting the Zombie line in various places, and even destroying the 'Minotaur Hero' in the process. (Even 'Deadly & Terror' support, whilst initially ef...

Re: Fantasy Playtest Report Back
Yes, please discuss the possibility of the Hero going across and adding its abilities to a threatened camp. Thanks for considering it. Although Camp does not pay points, and definition that seems to be separate from Stands, it does fight. I find the idea quite attractive. (Esp if you read of my disa...

Re: Fantasy Playtest Report Back
OK fortified will be useful.
I take it if camp is under threat, like any other stand, your Hero can go across and add his/her abilities to help camp defend itself.

Camp for the Undead
My Camp for Triumph! Fantasy Undead. Apart from still needing, a little touching up, (as the photo tells me), almost complete. Apart from a little paint, didn't cost me a cent! (thanks to cardboard cut out freebies, kiddies party left overs, etc Oh and that skull? It used to adorn my biker helmet, o...
