Early Warring States Chinese
Looking at the Early Warring States Chinese army list, I notice that Skirmishers are listed twice. The first entry has a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 4. The second entry for Skirmishers has a minimum of 0 and a maximum of 1. Neither of the entries have restrictions, nor place the Skirmishers in the...

Re: Conan at Nashcon
Thank you Rod. Must admit that I thought they were 28mm figures.

Re: Conan at Nashcon
It looks wonderful!
Just as a matter of interest, did you use 60mm or 80mm wide bases?

Re: Gaming Session in Washington DC (8/26)
Must admit that when I play Triumph! with my wargaming friend, we haven't been using the terrain set up rules. What happens is that we have a game of DBN first (Napoleonics is his main wargaming interest) and then have another game afterwards using the terrain set out for the first game. The second ...

Priming with Gesso
I had to get something to replace the Humbrol matt white enamel that I have been using to prime figures. After a search of The Miniatures Page, I noticed that some people have taken to using artists' gesso. I went to Veliko Tarnovo and bought a fairly large tub for 5 Leva 50 Stotinki (under 3 Euros ...

Re: Building Hastings Battlefield
Looks interesting. By the way, I think that the ground that you can see and walk over now has changed a little since the battle was fought. I can't remember where I read it, but I have a feeling that the ridge was flattened a bit when they built the abbey.

Re: Differentiating similar Troop Type
One possibility, if you have a lot of sword and axe armed Vikings, is to consider putting most of them on the 40mm by 20mm bases and doing a 'Viking Raider' army. I bought a few extra figures for my Vikings a little while ago but have the feeling that I have too high a proportion of swordsmen and ax...

Northern Bulgaria
This is a long shot, but I would be interested to hear from anyone visiting Northern Bulgaria who fancies a game, or anyone moving to Northern Bulgaria. I am slowly but steadily converting my 15mm ancient armies to Triumph! (with the exception of a couple that will be adapted for Hordes of the Thing...

Re: Hero Implementation
I fully support the aim of getting the final version of Triumph! out ASAP, and look forward to it. If the printed hardcover version is available from either the UK or the EU, then I may even consider getting a hard copy in addition to the PDF version. On the other hand, I am looking forward to seein...

Re: "Or" in Army List Troop Types
Thanks for your reply David. That makes it easier for me because some of the extra that I painted will have to go into the Middle Kingdom Egyptian army.
