Yes, Google translate is sometimes a b%#*h 😉
The correct translation is „Mittelalterliches Deutschland“.
Thanks! Fixed now.

Re: Campaign Book General Structure

As I am from Germany - here is one thing I spotted: It is called "Mittelalterliche s Deutschland" - just in case this was not only a typo in your post ;) By the way: if you ever plan to do a translation in German, we are more than happy to support with proofreading etc.! (Guess I can also talk for ...

Re: Question from Hattin Scenario

Hattin Scenario Part II, Minute 30 A knight in Combat with 2 Horses wins, 1 Horse touching the front can fall back, the horse to the side can not fall back fully and is destroyed by hitting an enemy foot in the rear. Question: Why is the enemy foot destroyed? And where in the rules can I find this?...

Re: Campaign Book General Structure

Wow - that sounds superinteresting! Any release date in sight? Would you wet our appetites with some more spoilers? Release date has been complicated by covid19, which makes it much harder for us to get stuff done because we all have jobs (working from home -- complex), wives (also working from hom...

Germany can see the ape-face too!
Germany and Australia both have good imaginations! :)

There's a word for the human capacity to see images in clouds and water and rocks and moldy bread and stuff, but I can't remember what it is.

Nice one David. There seems to be a happy accident (a Bob Ross moment) in that the right hand side of the mountain looks to have facial features.
"Facial features" has a much looser and more flexible definition in Australia, it seems... :)

Re: Mountain Fortress

Here's the finished fortress.

I had to repaint it three times; the first two just didn't look right.

Re: Asymmetrical Battles

I love that idea of the Aztec warriors degrading when they defeat enemy units. There's a battle card waiting to be written. There are all sorts of attrition, and all sorts of systems used to reduce it (like the manipular rotation of the Romans). Modern military historians have established pretty we...

Re: 2cnd Line? Usefull or not?

DK, your comments on movement distances for grand triumph also apply to new players in the regular game. Stranded flanking forces, even fast ones, stuck on the other side of terrain seems a common new player mistake. Certainly, although I would say it differently. Understanding timing across multip...

Re: 2cnd Line? Usefull or not?

I've done it. Having a reserve that is fast enough to get to a threatened flank is really an important technique. There are other answers, though. You can sometimes force your opponent to deploy in a certain way, by your own deployment. One flank often has more terrain, and therefore is unlikely to ...
