Re: Front side overlapping

What Markus just said. B is in front contact with A, so you must roll A vs B. Y is in flank contact with B's right flank, so it contributes a -1 to the roll. Nothing else can 'further penalize' B's right flank above and beyond this -1 factor. As always, just my 2c - I'm not an authority of any kind ...

Re: Syracusan vs Early Carthaginians (15mmm big bases)

Welcome Rob, your description is exactly what Triumph is supposed to be.

And yes the big bases look great!

Re: 15mm Mounted Halflings?

The Battle Valor stuff is really nice, but it does run a little bigger (more like 18mm), I suspect they will look big next to Splintered Light.

I really should get some splintered light war eagles.

Need a convention so I can shop for stuff I really do not need.

Re: Highelves

Looking good!

I am thinking about painting a Conan themed army or two in 15mm, but so many projects, so little time :)

Re: At what moment is the command distance measured?

It is measured at the time the command is given to the stand moving.

So for example if a general started too far from a stand and you used a command point to move the general closer, the stand could now be in command if you try to move it.

Re: 2 Questions re: Historical Accuracy Rivers & Deployment

Hi and welcome. Regarding rivers, keep in mind the battle cards are designed to generate interesting relatively common looking battlefields for the purpose of a meet up game. Not many battles took place in an actual river, running a river across a battlefield would generate a situation where players...

Re: Sorry another question

No need to be sorry for questions we love questions :) especially when they have really clear diagrams and pictures of the question! And from what I can see in your excellent diagrams you did everything correctly. The slight contact from the light foot is considered incidental contact, which is real...

Re: fantasy Triumph playtesting

Brummbar, If you are interested in a play test session, please let me know I can even try to arrange a match between you and Andreas, or you can try it directly with me or some of the other players. I have ben experimenting with my Zoom setup and I think it works pretty well now so we can play a gam...

fantasy Triumph playtesting

Special thanks to Andreas for playtesting via Zoom in Germany! The Eleven army defeated the Orcs after a very tough battle in the marsh technically they just hacked their way through a bunch of Goblins, the Orcs and the Troll got very little action until the very end. Andreas made very good use of h...
