Feudal English: Muntator vs. Hobilar
OK, I've only looked at Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hobelar "More recently, however, this view has been challenged by Robert Jones, who believes that the ancestor of the hobelar was a form of second class cavalryman called a muntator. These soldiers originated in the Anglo-Welsh armies ...

Re: Eastern Forest Americans
The size and style of battle is a problem for North America. It just doesn't fit the game system.

Eastern Forest Americans

Re: Triumph Renaissance
One of the problems with representing Renaissance infantry formations is the stand system. The Spanish Colunela should be easily distinguishable from a Spanish Early Tercio, a Spanish Later Tercio, a Maurician battalion, or a Swedish Brigade. They should also have distinct advantages and disadvantag...

Re: Tournament Score Sheets
They worked pretty well at Fall In. I had to remember to note whether a troop type was a battle line troop (or not) so that I didn't have to look it up for each battle.

Re: 27.7 Camp Garrison
Good enough. I would just like to clarify what happens if a general's stand is a camp garrison. If they are counted as being off-board then no one would do it. Otherwise, I can see it as a valid tactic if you wanted to protect the general and fight only on your side of the battlefield. I'll let othe...

Re: 27.2c Centre Deployment
Thanks. Even though I read it, I did not notice that both sides have to have 24 points in the centre zone. I like the way this works.

Re: 27.2c Centre Deployment
After deploying 24 points in the centre zone, can any excess stands of battle line troops be deployed in the flank zones if desired?

Re: 27.7 Camp Garrison
The only example that comes to mind is the Honjin. Japanese generals commanded battles from this static position. The camp could double as a Honjin. I'm not suggesting that this as a game winner. I was trying to think of how to handle an army list where the allowable general's stand was very vulnera...
