Re: Meshwesh minor errors and typos continued (from Oct 5, 2021)

In the Early Hoplite Greek list, is it intended that Athens can take allied Thessalian horsemen in addition to their own Thessalian horsemen?

For that matter, why are the Athens options even in the list when Athens has its own Early Hoplite list?

The Nikaian Byzantine general must be javelin cavalry, but the only entry for javelin cavalry is a 0-1 option. This doesn't seem right.

Wow, that's a rough record. With the battle cards available to Vikings, I've found them to be pretty competitive and fun. What were you matched up against?

Re: When can we see them?

Rod: Thanks for the playtest suggestion. Though I do get in some games, I don't play enough to provide much useful feedback. I don't want to waste your time. 🙁

DK: No problem. I did say "just be patient" is a valid answer. 🙂 I'll take good over fast any day!

I'd be perfectly happy with "these are playtest rules that are going to change so don't get upset when they do" rules. Then agai...

Re: Cataphracts

Unless your old basing system was really hard to rebase (some people use epoxy or glues that are a total booger to unglue), I'd recommend rebasing them. I'm in the middle of rebasing some light camelry and now remember why I stopped using epoxy on bases... 🙄 Rebasing is worth it in the long run tho...

Re: Scythian's

Hey amazing WGC folks!

A keyword search for "Scythian" should probably find the Skythian lists. You've been really good about adding keywords. I appreciate it!

Re: March 2021 Battle Card Update (just in June)

It's clear for most entries, but I'm not sure of the cost for mobile infantry... Does it cost one per stand, one per troop entry, or one per army?

Re: Between light foot and raider?

The search engine is supposed to catch search keys as well as titles, and Hannibal in Italy has the search keys "Carthage" and "Carthaginian". I'll have to ask our online database person to check what's up with that; it should have come up. Meshwesh only searches for keywords if you're on the main ...
