We would hope to have these naked guys ready for sale in the near future.
(Hoping for 3-4 months of quiet on the family front.)

Re: Differentiating similar Troop Type
DK, It was Hastings that triggered the specific thought, but it’s really a generic question. (I did convert some 3BW Archers from the legacy system to skirmishers in Triumph! By popping off the middle figure to have enough archer skirmishers.) The long established WRG basing standards are a blessing...

Differentiating similar Troop Type
Any clever ideas on how to differentiate troop types based the same way? Heavy foot and Elite foot seem to be the biggest issue, particularly for newer players and when playing bigger games like Grand Triumph!
Not a biggie, but wondering if others have ideas.

Hastings
Before Triumph! I had made a custom board for the Battle of Hastings following the Two Davids That Embattled Isle scenario book. I adapted the scenario to Triumph! using Duke William’s Norman Invasion list and the Anglo-Danish list. Duke William: 4 x Knights (16 pts), 4 x Elite Foot (16 pts), 1 x Ja...

Re: Name for Fantasy Triumph!
Adepticon and Gencon really are the high end commercial cons. The vendors put a lot into booths and supporting their game systems. It’s overwhelming as a consumer wanspd ring the vendor halls and it builds consumer expectations. If you could come to Apeditocn it would be great. GMs and vendors have ...

Re: Name for Fantasy Triumph!
FWIW the SAGA National tournament has been at Adepticon in Chicago the last 4 years or so. I think FoW has their Nationals there too.
Adepticon has an interesting history as a very successful independently run convention.

Name for Fantasy Triumph!
I was wondering if there had been any thought about coming up with a specific name for the Fantasy version of Triumph! Maybe a name that might be helpful in bringing players over to historical gaming from fantasy gaming. (Recently attending the very successful Adepticon convention in Chicago with +5...

HYW English
For play testing the new archer rules, the HYW English armies do not have anyway to dismount the Knights right now. So for any of the historical battles you'd want to dismount most of the knights. You can then use a historical deployment with the Dismounted Knights Archer - Dis Kn - Archer Archer - ...

Re: New Shooting Rules
I like the change in the shooting rules. Much simpler and quicker. More in line with the game design. It will be much easier to teach. Too much tortured logic to fit into the previous single opposing die roll mechanic as noted above.
