I see. Knights attacking a formation of alternating heavy foot and WWg will probably shatter one or more heavy foot. Having done so they have to pursuit and find themselves between two WWg, i.e. flank attacked (-1) and overlapped (-1) and no possibility to fall back .. clever. Thank you, David!

as the commander of the losing side, I can confirm the game was tense and fun! Vodnik indeed lost his general but in the following round he eliminated two of my elements which was enough to win the game! Congratulations, vodnik!

I would like to see a renaissance expansion of the Triumph! rules since I used to play Italian Wars battles using the Renaissance expansion of a legacy system which worked quite well.
