Re: Sabots for Lt. Foot to Rabble
If I understand what you said then the metal base is glued to the bottom of the rigid base to extend it 10 mm. I think that would work. I haven't ordered any, but if I do then I'll let you know how it works out. EDIT: I had to place an order to Litko for more magnetic strips so I added some 40 mm x ...

Re: TRIUMPH! Events at Fall In! 2018
There is a Franco-Scottish army in the Flowers of Chivalry theme, so that makes sense. It is the only battle involving Scottish troops on the continent in that period I could find. I though that you were trying to suggest that Scots are not chivalrous. :D At some point, when you have time, it would ...

Re: Sabots for Lt. Foot to Rabble
Litko has what they call "flexible" steel bases which are 0.025 in. thick. That would probably work.

Re: TRIUMPH! Events at Fall In! 2018
Is there a reason why the Scots Common army isn't included in the Flowers of Chivalry theme? The time period fits.

Re: SIGNUP for Punic Wars! Campaign Theme -- Fall In 2018
The incident on your shirt happened to me once. I was riding in Toronto and crossed a sewer grate. Unfortunately for me the steel bars ran parallel to the curb and not perpendicular. My front tire lodged in the grate, but my bicycle and I kept going so I rotated 180 degrees through the air and the b...

Re: Sabots for Lt. Foot to Rabble
Do you have a source for the 40 mm x 30 mm metal bases or do you make them?

Re: SIGNUP for Punic Wars! Campaign Theme -- Fall In 2018
The original posting was for a Punic Wars campaign, but later postings specified that it was a Second Punic War Campaign. Is there a reason for that?
By the way are there any Battle Cards available in this campaign?

Sabots for Lt. Foot to Rabble
I hate painting and I bought half of my armies, which makes rebasing and/or adding figures problematic. Rebasing for Triumph for me is a nightmare, but I am getting over it. I have a double DBA 2.2 Polybian Roman army so that is a good start. I've cannibalized my Later Carthaginian army for Psiloi a...

Re: SIGNUP for Punic Wars! Campaign Theme -- Fall In 2018
What about Romans starting the list with both an "In Italy" and "Expeditionary" army list which they switch between as appropriate in the campaign? I haven't looked at the Carthaginian list, but perhaps they could do the same.

Re: SIGNUP for Punic Wars! Campaign Theme -- Fall In 2018
Please sign me up for one of the Polybian Roman positions. Will Michael You bet, Will. It'll be good to see you again! Likewise. Now, on to rebasing. David, there are chronological and geographic conditions in the Polybian Roman army list. I imagine that the date limits don't apply since they all c...
