So the five unit types listed in 78.1 are "impetuous" and always pursue.
Plus, ANY stand that doubles its opponent in close combat pursues per 78.2 (except for art. & WW).

Minimum Close Combat Factor?
I looked for this in the rules, but could not find it. No matter what negative tactical factors may apply, a stand's combat factor is never reduced to less than 1. Correct?

Jim,
You could use a certain color of ring/marker on one of the front rank figures of a unit to note that it is in open order (if it isn't otherwise obvious). No marker could denote that the unit is in close order.
