The first few stands have been painted, washed using Mineax Polyshades Tudor Satin, and the bases painted earth brown, dry brushed with light brown, and finally a sand color. The next step is to finish the bases and spray with Testors Dull Cote.

15mm Sumerian Camp

A gate in the walls of Ur. The angled brick buttresses are from Baueda. The rest of the wall was carved fron blue insulation foam. A Eureka brand straddle car is placed on the corner to show scale.

This marsh terrain is designed so that all the pieces can be moved around to accomodate troop placement. Adding a drybrush of “caramel corn” color along the edges seems to blend it in better with my Dry terrain mat. The mat is wool felt “haybale” color from Prairie Woolens.
