I am working on some Holy Land terrain boards for the Chariot Wars (but they should also be useful for Crusader games, etc.). Thanks for the lengthy answer. I think fighting in depth with elements is less intuitive than outnumbering and out flanking opponent battle lines. I have some new tactics and formations I'd like to try out.
