Re: First Edition of the Printed Book

A wall, a big beautiful 650 army list wall!

Re: Crossing of the Rhine 406

If you find yourself alone, riding in green fields with the sun on your face, do not be troubled; for you are in Elysium, and you're already dead! Re: Hard copy publication

That said, the hard copy is going to look REALLY good, so completely understand wanting both! -WGC [/quote] I assume by 'REALLY good' your taking a relaxed attitude towards word count, a liberal view towards punctuation and a " what the hell let's just add a dozen more lines of text for the sake of...

Re: Bronze Age Zagros Highlanders

Restraint is for the unimaginative. Wait, maybe I could make a huge camp showing the building of a pyramid with a few dozen workers built from green stuff and....no, must stop myself. As I see you may have noticed Triumph places creatively onerous restrictions on the horizontal dimensions of ones ca...

Re: Bronze Age Zagros Highlanders

Quite a scene you've set, I can almost hear the lamentations of their women.

I do wonder sometimes if this is toy soldiers or your version of storyboarding for your next Hollywood production. Looking forward to the next episode of "The Saga of Sumer".

Re: Byzantine Akontistai and Menavlatoi

I also have this army and if I were going to try to add figures to it from another range I might try the Dark Ages Isarus range from Alternative Armies. https://www.alternative-armies.com/ They have some Byzantines that with a half decent paint job would, probably (I don't have any), fit well. No Me...
