In the attached pdf file, I have shown a situation involving rule 54.4 (moving to flank contact) which occurred in a game this week.
Rule 54.4 just forbids moving from ahead to full flank contact.
We wondered if partial flank contact as shown was allowed in this situation.

OK. The answer is the falling back unit will only kill the first unit it contacts. Both units are eliminated and none others. Thanks.
