Re: Command limitations, etc.

DK - Thanks for responding. I have copied and pasted to this post in order to gain further clarification. If you give those further units of heavy foot and rabble individual orders, dancing them around fancy-pants, yes, they cost two command points each because they are out of command control. Let u...

Command limitations, etc.

Gents, Quick question or clarification regarding command distances and limitations, etc. Let us say that a new player prepares a Spartan army containing 4 units of Elite Foot, 10 units of Heavy Foot, and 1 unit of Rabble. He builds these with 80mm frontage bases and then lines them up as a single co...

ZOC movement and Demoralization

Hello Gentlemen, Perhaps this is "bad form" in that I am posting two rule queries instead of just one, and perhaps it would be better placed under the "Newbie" Section as I am not a frequent player of TRIUMPH! - but here we are. Presently involved in a quasi-historical game and a unit of bad horse o...

Re: Grand triumph demoralized stand questions

Cheers - and understood.

Actually, it seems that Slingshot is going through something of a rough patch, so any contributions or inquiries might get "lost" as things get sorted (hopefully).

Good luck with all the work you and your associates have to do.

Re: Magnesia with TRIUMPH!

Hello Roger, Sorry for the delay. I have been occupied with refighting a sort of Magnesia using modified Tactica II. I hope to have it posted to my blog by the end of the month. Thanks very much for your replies and suggested order of battle. I will take some time to look this over and think about a...

Re: Later Mycenaean vs. Trojans

TM -

A splendid little affair!

I could not help but think of the massed battle scenes in TROY . . .

Well done.

Thanks for posting/sharing.

Cheers,
Chris

Magnesia with TRIUMPH!

Hello there -

Has anyone tried to stage the 190 BC battle using TRIUMPH or GRAND TRIUMPH?

May I ask for your OBs?

Did you draft any special rules or new Battle Cards?

Thanks in advance for your time and advice.

Re: Grand triumph demoralized stand questions

Gentlemen,

Thanks very much for the clarification(s).

Appreciate the "too much on a plate" status re Slingshot and Battle Day. Just thought that including TRIUMPH! among the handful of rules would give you and TRIUMPH! another level of exposure, etc.

Cheers,
Chris
