Re: Questions about Light Foot and Shower Shooting
I never thought about it this way. With skirmishers, you can have them out front of the main heavy line no worries. And, you can even have them a couple of base widths in front of the main line. It won’t matter as they’ll alway just pass through or evade through the heavies. But rabble you have to a...

Re: Spartans vs Vikings: It’s finally finished . . . or is it?
Greedo (aka Chris - cool name by the way ;) ), Thanks very much for taking the time to read and comment. Almost fell off my chair. Typically, I will get a number of views but only very rarely a response. Appreciated. Agree with with on TTS! I really should try to stage more games using this innovat...

Great battle reports! I especially love the flats you’re using for the units
Definitely like TTS! My gaming group is really into it, but I’ve managed to turn one of them to loving triumph. The chitless nature of it is great looking gaming table
Please do submit more of these.

Re: Increased Movement Rate in Fantasy Triumph
This actually sounds pretty good.
I might use this as a house rule to see how it works out.
Would make hoplite rabble just a bit more useful.
Haven’t seen fantasy triumph.
Was fantasy rabble increased to 4MU and Bow Levy increased to 3MU?

Re: Group Move Skirmishers
Thanks! That does clear things up, although I still don’t see why moving 3 single elements for 3 pips and moving a group of 3 for 3 pips is different.. what’s the case I’m missing? Combat occurs after moving… and elements won’t turn to face flank attacks until they’ve lost combat. What’s the other s...

Group Move Skirmishers
Just a quick question about Rule 32.1: I understand that Skirmishers and Rabble can group move through difficult terrain for 1 PIP. 32.1c I understand that Loose Order can pass through Loose Order. A group of Skirmishers can pass through and be passed through both loose and close order for 1 PIP, si...

Year Filter in Meshwesh?
This might be more trouble than it's worth, but while building an army with my buddy whom I will introduce to Triumph next month, I suddenly asked him "what year are we playing" so that we can correctly build forces. It would be really helpful is that were a filter in Meshwesh where I either enter a...
