Commands of different Nations - How do I sort terrain?

Our Club is planning some 96pts a side game, but owing to figure shortage, both sides have commands of 2 x 48pt armies, but of different nations. Has anyone devised a setup system that accounts for each command having different Manouvre Ratings, Invasion Ratings, Home Terrain etc? We're using 96x32m...

Can Heroes March Move & at What cost?

The FT Rules state for Detached Heroes that, "Moving a hero has a base cost of zero
command points."
Can Heroes March Move? Now if they can March move what Command points are needed for the 2nd move. 1 or does it stay as 0?

Maybe if the could be more "copy & paste able" from the pdf. Could be useful for game report maps etc.

Glad you are having fun with the fantasy stuff. However, the Dark Elves need a more Dark Elfy camp?
Here it is. Basically a Cardboard cutout 'freebie.' with witch garrison and even 'resident ' witch.

Triumph! Fantasy Playtest #7 Dark Elves vs Undead

I must say the Fantasy rules are a lot of fun, and add a stimulating, alternative variant, to the standard Historical rules. Refer to the Number Key on the Map & to the Photos. With "Slow,"& "Unruly" characteristics, both centre lines crept at a 'snails pace,' and together with the fearsome 'Zombie ...

Re: Fortified Camps

BTW: I do have one other query. Why, when there is a Garrison does the Camp CF go down to +1? Are the Camp followers perhaps helping/feeding the Garrison now or is it to prevent the Camp becoming too strong?
Please let us know the reason. Thanks for your responses.

Re: Fortified Camps

Thanks Rod for clarifying this, and Chris for bringing it up. Wow' I didn't even realise the the Combat for the Garrison was its Points Cost and not its usual CF. but there is is! 72.2 A camp with a garrison has a combat factor derived from the cost of the garrisoning stand: I did realise Fortificat...

Fantasy Playtest #6 Dark elves vs Parthian

Triumph Fantasy Playtest #6 5 Feb 2022 (or... "How NOT to play a Wargame!") Dark Elves (Shawn), vs Parthian(Adrian). My daughter recently complained that it was "unfair" to pit Humans vs Fantasy. Well... after this game, I'm beginning to think its the other way round! At 1/3 Loss point, Parthians wo...

Camp for Dark Elves

Finally finished the Camp for my Dark Elves . (At reduction to 42% the Cloister 'Cutout' was a 'fiddle,' but fun:) A real 'cheapo!' Cloister, Wall & Gate , from 'Freebie' cardboard cut-outs. Base: Part of a DVD case. Rocks: Off the roadside. "Resident Witch" : Wife's ornament, that she 'lent' me. Al...
