15mm Later Yayoi Camp
This 15mm camp combines two distinctive elements of Late Yayoi Culture: Queen Himiko and the “dotaku”, a clapperless bronze bell with flanged sides. https://i.postimg.cc/Hsn22gvc/IMG-8503.jpg Queen Himiko was ruler of the Japanese territory later to be known as Yamato in the 3rd century AD. 15mm Early Yayoi Camp
This camp features a circular "pit house" of the Jomon period in Japan. The pit house features a central pole surrounded by a shallow pit and supporting walls. This design was typical of the Jomon era, which lasted from 14,000 B.C. to approximately 300 B/C. when they were supplanted by the Yayoi cul...

My initial thought was to paint the shields green and add them directly to my Rohan army, but instead I clipped off the kite shields and added round ones with bosses, changed out the straight pin lances for...

15mm Yayoi and Jomon
This planned set of armies was inspired by the 15mm range of Yayoi armies available from Khurasan miniatures. The Yayoi people crossed over from the Korean peninsula in the Neolithic era and eventually mixed with and ultimately overwhelmed the original hunter-gatherer Jomon people of Japan. The only...

Re: April 20 Little Wars Con Campaign Game Notice
I am planning to attend. I will bring a 15mm Anglo-Norman army. It allows for three stands of mounted Huscarls. They are rated as “Bad Horse” in the rules but should be useful, especially so because the army will also have one stand of Norman Knights.
